Indonesia is the biggest archipelago country in the world. Stretching from Sabang city to Merauke city, Indonesia has 17,499 islands with a total area of approximately 7.81 million km2. Of the total area, 3.25 million km2 are oceans and 2.55 million km2 are the Exclusive Economic Zone. Only about 2.01 million km2 is form of land. With the vast area of the existing sea, Indonesia has enormous marine and fisheries potential.
Indonesia's soil is fertile because it is located on the equator so that the sun is automatically exposed to the sun throughout the year. Creating high levels of evaporation which ultimately creates high rainfall, and it is ready to be planted with any tropical plants. The fertile soil of Indonesia is like a beautiful stretch of silk that needs to be sewn and arranged by skilled hands so that it becomes a fine, beautiful and useful garment.
Generally, Indonesia's natural resource potentials consist resources from forests, sea, oil, natural gas, and coal.
Finally, according to the Indonesia constitution, that the land and water and natural resources contained therein shall be controlled by the state and used for the greatest prosperity of the people and give benefits for all people.
